About the role

Reporting to the Shovel and Drill Supervisor, Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) in our maintenance departments are responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting and diagnosing the root causes of equipment problems and taking appropriate actions. This is a full‑time hourly position that offers an attractive 4×4 schedule consisting of days and nights or straight days. The position is site‑based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.

Responsibilities
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
Wear a respirator in certain components of this role, ensuring an interference‑free seal.
Work closely with all other trades, contractors,



and skill sets to acquire the highest availability and reliability of our fleet.
Perform all associated duties including regular scheduled preventive maintenance, PM optimization, procedure development, parts requirements, and job plans.
Adhere to established maintenance procedures and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs in the work order system.

Requirements
Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification.
Valid driver's license.
Previous mining experience is an asset.
Comfortable working in an outdoor setting under all weather conditions.

Salary Range

Base earnings reflected in the salary range include the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. Salary range: $128,000 – $134,000 CAD per year.
