itec group is partnered with a leading CPG manufacturer in Mississauga seeking an HR Generalist. This is a newly created role working closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and HR administration.Daily Responsibilities May Include but Are Not Limited To:Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, transfers, and offboarding.Partner with managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and corrective action.Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, workplace expectations, and company programs.Support hourly workforce staffing needs, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and scheduling interviews.Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and data in the HRIS.Assist with benefits administration, leaves of absence, and employee questions as needed.Coordinate training, compliance activities, and policy acknowledgements.Support workforce planning and labor needs across shifts and departments.Help administer engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace concerns.Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, attendance, and time-to-fill.Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and confidentiality requirements.Support plant leadership with communication, change management, and HR process improvementsMandatory Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration,
