Join the Summit Decommissioning Services team as a Lead Crew Hand based in Brooks, Alberta. This field-based role emphasizes leadership in pipeline and facility maintenance projects, working shifts up to 12 hours.
As a Lead Crew Hand, you will support daily operations on-site, guiding and instructing labourers while ensuring safe practices are followed in all tasks. You'll organize tasks, operate essential machinery, and lead decommissioning projects to successful completion with the backing of a skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a 2-ton crew truck with hoisting capabilities
• Guide and support labourers during facility/pipeline decommissioning
• Delegate daily in office tasks efficiently
• Promote safety in all operational tasks
• Assist with daily reporting and field documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in pipeline and facility abandonment
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Solid understanding of safety processes and hazard recognition
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass fitness tests
