Job Responsibility:

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of computer systems, networks, and security protocols. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and providing exceptional support to end-users. The Computer Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our technology systems.

Duties
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop, laptop, and server systems.
Provide support for network infrastructure, including WAN and SAN configurations.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect sensitive data.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues using protocols such as TCP, DHCP, and PRTG.
Assist in the design and implementation of network architecture to optimize performance.
Monitor system performance using tools like Splunk to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Collaborate with team members to integrate APIs for enhanced system functionality.
Document technical processes and create user guides for common troubleshooting scenarios.




Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role in IT support.
Strong knowledge of WAN, SAN, network security principles, TCP/IP protocols, DHCP configurations, and network support practices.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG and Splunk is preferred.
Understanding of network architecture concepts and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Robust communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical staff.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco) are a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team setting.

Pay: $26.87-$30.00 per hour
