About the Role

The Company is seeking a President and CEO to serve as the leading advocate and representative for the Canadian steel construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the use of steel in construction, fostering dialogue and collaboration among industry stakeholders, and advancing the perks of steel to various communities, including consulting, building, academia, and government.





This role requires a passionate individual with a strong background in leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence and inspire both internal and external stakeholders. The President and CEO will also be accountable for the organization's operations, deepening relationships with key stakeholders, and acting as a national advocate for the industry.

Applicants for the President and CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' proven leadership experience, with a professional background that includes government, business, public policy, and association management. While not mandatory, knowledge of or experience in the steel or construction industry is highly valued.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of creating a compelling vision for the industry's future, and will be dedicated to promoting sustainable design and the use of steel in construction.
