In this key role within the Host and Network IO Team, your expertise will enhance the full IO path from server nodes to custom network stacks. You will lead FPGA development, improve RTL, and optimize bandwidth, interfacing with software and architecture teams. Your work will drive advancements across multiple hardware generations, solidifying Cerebras' leadership in AI technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design of chassis-to-wafer IO architectures
Improve existing RTL and define future IO systems
Develop production-ready FPGA bitstreams for deployment
Optimize FPGA datapath for bandwidth and latency
Collaborate with board teams on board bringup tasks
Requirements:
5+ years in FPGA development or advanced degree plus 3 years
Proficient in Verilog with Git-based workflows
Experience with network protocols like TCP and RoCE
Familiarity with network switch settings
Solid debugging skills utilizing network tools
Drive network IO improvements with cutting-edge FPGA solutions at Cerebras Systems.
