With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.About The RoleMcCain Foods is seeking someone who has a strong technical background and a desire to grow as a leader in the engineering department in the role ofReliability Engineer. The ideal candidate needs excellent interpersonal skills as they will deal with everyone from general laborers and mechanics to plant management on a day-to-day basis. An ability to work in a fast paced, fun and team-based environment is crucial.What You’ll Be DoingIdentify and manage asset reliability that could adversely affect plant or business operations.Leads the Root Cause Failure Analysis effort for sporadic equipment failures and ensure failure modes are addressedMaintain criticality list and determine maintenance strategies for assets based on rankingManage the plant’s predictive and preventative maintenance programsResearch and implement current condition monitoring and predictive maintenance technologiesCreate and maintain maintenance and reliability KPI’s in conformance with a world class reliability programMonitor asset availability, analyze data for trends,



and use findings to recommend improvements or predict future failuresWork with Regional Reliability Managers to advance the plant’s reliabilityMake specific recommendations to the Engineering Management Team to improve machinery performance and reliability based on analysis of process and failure dataIdentity Sustainable Cost Advantage opportunities through reducing maintenance costs or increasing equipment capability.Support and identify training opportunities and activities for the Maintenance DepartmentManage of Capital projects from creation of the REA to the execution of the projectAssist Capital project process with reliability analysis of new designs to determine system, asset and component reliabilitySupports plant safety programs and departmental safety requestsPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You’ll Need To Be SuccessfulEducation: minimum Undergraduate degree in Engineering required.Can communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written workStrong technical expertise and problem-solving skillsStrong analytical skills (e.G., root cause analysis and statistical analysis)Displays vision and demonstrate both personal and organizational sensitivityAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reportsAbout McCainClick Here to learn more about McCain and how we provide you with opportunities to make an impact that matters.Compensation & BenefitsCompensation Package : $69,700.00 - $93,000.00 CAD annually + Bonus EligibilityThe above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
