The Senior System Analyst will be a meticulous SQL Database Programmer and ensure efficient data storage, data security, retrieval, and reporting. This position requires a strong attention to detail,
high performance in a fast-paced environment, and accommodating impromptu requests with short turnaround. It also requires ability to adapt to changing environments and learning new technology, as Renal Program implements provincial OPOR strategy.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is requiredMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology is required; including 2 yearsof database analysis/reporting and experience in applications systems analysis, design and developmentStrong proficiency in SQL programming, ability to write stored procedures and advanced SQL queries with emphasis on efficiency for high volume reportsExceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in SQL queries, data integrity, privacy, and securityExperience in .NET Framework software developmentStrong knowledge of up-to-date industry’s best security practicesEager and able to acquire new skills (upcoming OPOR etc.)Knowledge of regular expressionsKnowledge of scripting languagesAbility to develop and maintain reports and dashboardsKnowledge of data warehousing and ETL processesExperience with database design, normalization, and indexingKnowledge of performance tuning and query optimizationFamiliarity with backup, recovery,
