This is a senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and financial performance. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to strengthen how we plan, measure, and make decisions as we grow.Our work is custom, project‑based, and increasingly complex. Success in this role requires someone who can bring clarity to that complexity, build systems that support scale, and ensure we are making thoughtful, informed trade‑offs as we grow.What You’ll DoFinancial Leadership & StrategyLead the financial strategy of the business, partnering with the CEO and leadership team to support growth, investment decisions, and long‑term planningStrengthen financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling to improve visibility, support decision‑making, and guide investment and growth decisionsProvide clear, actionable financial insights that help leaders understand performance, trade‑offs, and opportunitiesSupport expansion into new markets and increasing business complexity with disciplined financial planningFinancial Operations & PerformanceOversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash managementOwn financial performance outcomes, including cost discipline, margin performance, and cash flow health, using data to guide decisions and trade‑offsEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with ASPELead month‑end and year‑end processes with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and reliabilitySystems, Data & ProcessStrengthen financial systems, tools,



and processes to support scale and improve visibility across the businessLead the implementation of the company’s ERP system end‑to‑end, ensuring successful adoption, integration with operations, and long‑term scalability of financial and operational processesEnsure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of financial dataBuild reporting that connects financial performance to operational realitiesRisk, Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standardsMaintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assetsOversee audit processes and coordinate with external advisors (auditors, legal, tax, banking)Manage insurance, banking relationships, and financial riskLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teamBuild a high‑performing, accountable team that balances technical excellence with business partnershipCreate clarity around roles, expectations, and development pathsFoster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaborationWhat We’re Looking ForWe care deeply about how you think, how you lead, and how you show up in complexity just as much as where you’ve worked.10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with senior leadership experienceCPA designation requiredExperience in project‑based, manufacturing, design‑build, or custom environmentsProven ability to scale financial systems, processes, and teams as a business growsStrong financial planning and analysis capability, including forecasting, modeling, and scenario planningExperience implementing or optimizing ERP/accounting systemsAbility to translate financial data into clear, practical insight for decision‑makingComfort operating in complexity, balancing multiple priorities and trade‑offsA systems mindset — able to connect financial outcomes to operational driversStrong communication and collaboration skills across leadership and teamsA mindset that aligns with Earthscape: humble, curious, collaborative,
