Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily food service operations at A&W; and help keep service fun, friendly, and efficient for guests and team members.
- Schedule, train, and support food service staff, stepping in to perform the same duties as the team when required.
- Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistent A&W; standards are followed at all times.
- Promote a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment by following food safety, sanitation,



and workplace health procedures.
- Oversee inventory, stock rotation, and supply ordering to reduce waste and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and support a positive customer experience during busy service periods.
- Perform the same duties as those supervised when necessary.
- Prepare and review shift reports, sales summaries, and staff performance notes as needed.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, routine equipment checks, and complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 1–2 years of restaurant experience or 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are required.
- Valuable attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical restaurant supplies is required.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices is an asset.
- Willingness to perform the same duties as the staff when needed is required.
