Carya is looking for a dynamic Community Wellness Facilitator to enhance community engagement in Calgary’s East Village. Facilitate wellness programs that foster connection and belonging across generations in this full-time position.
As part of Carya’s Multigenerational Wellness team, you will creatively plan programs tailored to participant interests and community needs. This role involves facilitating inclusive environments and building meaningful relationships with diverse participants. Flexibility for evening and weekend work is required to accommodate community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan innovative arts and wellness programs for community access
• Create and maintain a seasonal programming calendar
• Promote initiatives through outreach and community events




• Facilitate welcoming group experiences for diverse audiences
• Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate community feedback
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• At least 2–3 years in human services or recreation programming
• Robust interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Experience working with intergenerational groups
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required
