Amazon's WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager II at our fulfillment centre in Barrhaven, ON. As an Area Manager II, you'll act as a strategic leader overseeing up to 80 associates while driving department-level operational improvements. You'll conduct planning sessions with your team, coaching them through operational challenges while developing their leadership capabilities. You'll partner cross-functionally with teams such as Quality, HR, and Safety to implement scalable process improvements that could impact 200+ associates across multiple workflows. Key Responsibilities Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives Diagnose root causes of performance gaps using advanced analytics Facilitate alignment meetings with senior leadership on department-level goals Implement scalable process improvements impacting 200+ associates Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend,



and reach Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud Work in variable temperatures including outside loading departments Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable Basic Qualifications 2+ years of employee and performance management experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Experience managing large teams of 50+ members Experience with Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen process improvements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field Experience in shipping/logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, retail, or customer-service environments Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $75,000 – $105,000 CAD annually. Total compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
