Registered Nurse – Smith Creek Village, West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada (Casual Shift Opportunities)

Baptist Housing is dedicated to helping seniors experience life well in supportive communities. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide leadership, develop care plans, and deliver compassionate, person‑centred care for residents with complex health needs.

Responsibilities

Provide team leadership and mentorship to nursing and support staff.

Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualised care plans in accordance with BCCNM standards.

Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and facilitate patient transfers.

Manage complex health conditions and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation, including legal and regulatory records.





Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Current good standing or eligibility for membership with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).

First Aid Certificate.

Experience as a nurse in a long‑term care environment (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits
Level 3 RNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $41.42 to $55.91, as outlined in the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement.
