The Opportunity – Build the Future with Us
Be part of a major construction program in Prince Rupert, BC , supporting the delivery of a complex, high‑profile infrastructure replacement project. As a Construction Field Inspector (Intermediate to Senior) , you’ll play a critical role in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance on site—either by living in Prince Rupert for the duration of the project or by working a 2‑weeks‑in / 2‑weeks‑out rotation as part of a collaborative field team.

Your Impact

Inspect construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements

Monitor contractor performance and workmanship across civil, geotechnical, and associated infrastructure scopes

Document field activities through daily reports, photos, deficiency tracking, and progress updates

Support health, safety, and environmental compliance on site, promoting a strong safety culture

Coordinate with contractors, project managers, engineers,



and client representatives to resolve field issues

Identify non‑conformances and support corrective actions to keep work moving safely and efficiently

Contribute to successful project delivery in a northern and logistically complex workplace

The Skills That Set You Apart

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering , or a related discipline

5+ years of progressive construction inspection experience on large, multi‑disciplinary projects

Strong understanding of civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure construction practices

Experience working on active construction sites

Familiarity with quality control, inspection documentation, and deficiency management

Ability to work independently while collaborating within a field‑based project team

Willingness to reside in Prince Rupert or work a 2‑in / 2‑out rotational schedule

Valid driver’s license and ability to meet site safety requirements

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC : $69,900 – $92,900
