Nurse A - Registered Nurse Registered Psych Nurse

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing secure quality nursing care to clients.

Qualifications

Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS.

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable.
- Nursing diploma is acceptable.




- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable.

Competencies

- Basic Computer skills.
- Basic communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice.
- Basic interpersonal skills.
- Basic decision making skills.

Knowledge & Abilities

- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge in ethnic and cultural diversity.
