Role Purpose Support safe and reliable operation of potable water and wastewater treatment systems at Brucejack Mine. Ensure water quality, wastewater treatment, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Operate and monitor potable water, wastewater, and dewatering treatment systems.
Perform water sampling, testing, inspections, and record keeping.
Monitor pumps, tanks, chemical feed systems, instrumentation, and control equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment, complete minor maintenance, and respond to system alarms.
Ensure compliance with site permits, environmental requirements, and applicable regulations.
Maintain housekeeping standards and safely operate site equipment, including skid steers when required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experience EOCP certification in Water Treatment and/or Wastewater Treatment preferred.
Experience operating potable water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Knowledge of treatment processes, pumps, valves, instrumentation, and chemical handling.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work safely in a remote camp workplace on a rotational schedule and in challenging weather conditions.
The expected salary range for this role is CA$81,100.00 - CA$101,400.00 + 10% STIP per year. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer extended to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history.
