Education Level: Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent and Certificate of Qualification (447A) or two or three-year College Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Base Location: Pickering, ON Shift: Days and/or rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays Travel: 10% Deadline to Apply: May 11, 2026 Salary Range: $42.82 - $66.22 per hour JOB OVERVIEW Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a agile, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Electrical and Control Technician – Instrumentation and Control. Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, this position is responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating, designing, and troubleshooting networking systems, process control, and environmental protection equipment in various industrial environments. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Installs, maintains and configures control and process systems Calibrates, commissions, configures, installs and troubleshoots all pneumatic, electronic, electrical, mechanical and analytical instrumentation devices Calibrates and repairs analytical instrumentation that monitors or controls flow, level, temperature, pressure, acidity, conductivity and humidity Services all process control communication networks Services, environmental and other analytical instruments Note that candidates who are selected to proceed in the recruitment process will be required to complete online aptitude testing. EDUCATION Have a minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent Have a two-to-three-year college diploma in Instrumentation & Control or hold a valid Certificate of Qualification (447A). QUALIFICATIONS Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts (weekends/holidays) Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification will be an asset Eligible to work in Canada and Canadian equivalency for foreign education, if applicable Strong problem‑solving, communication, interpersonal,



and organizational skills; tech/computer comfortable; self‑starter Safety/environmental compliance focus; Heath and Safety experience an asset Technical: documentation/records, interpret drawings/manuals/tools, troubleshoot Radiation/contamination control knowledge; pass Radiation Protection training/exams Physical: heights/harness, confined spaces, hot/cold; lift 50 lb; forklift/elevated work platforms; valid Ontario G licenseis an asset The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.
