Together, we are EXP.Be our next Electrical Designer, Mining!Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the mining team, based inSt. Johns, NL, Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ONoffice.What a day at EXP has in store for youWork closely with our lead engineer and staff designers to design and draft accurate drawing packagesElectrical drafting; single‑line diagrams, three‑line diagrams, grounding plans, wiring, schematics, AC/DC wiring systems, loop diagrams, plan views and elevation/section drawingsAssist the lead engineer in the design of power & lighting layouts, circuiting, fire alarm, automation & control, instrumentation and electrical detailsDraft AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or REVIT environmentsPlot,



scan and issue project drawing and documentation packagesSupport multiple projects, client deadlines and deliverablesWhat your experience looks likeMinimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial design and layout, EPCM workplace is preferredInstrumentation experience requiredTechnical college graduate with North American experience in mining and mineral or similar industriesDesign experience, preferably in the consulting industry (preference will be given to those candidates with experience in Mineral Mining projects)PLC and instrumentation designStrong personal commitment to Safety and QualityOrganized, self‑motivated, pro‑active, detail‑oriented, and have good communication skillsSound understanding of design, engineering codes and technical standardsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) productsAutoCAD, MicroStation experience requiredKnowledge in engineering standards, codes and guidelines and engineering systems coordinationThe salary range for this role is between $60k – $70k.
