The time has finally come for Old Yale Brewing Craft Brewery + Kitchen Chilliwack to reopen its doors, but first we need to fill it with some awesome people…aka YOU!

Old Yale Brewing opened our doors way back in 1999 and since our start, we’ve always stayed true to our roots, seeking perfect balance using the finest, all-natural ingredients to craft truly one-of-a-kind beers and delicious campfire-inspired food.

The Role
The Prep Cook is a vital part of the OYB kitchen team, helping ensure every shift starts set up for success. From preparing ingredients and organizing workstations to supporting food preparation and inventory management, you’ll help create the exceptional food and hospitality experiences our guests know and love.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and menu components.

Measure, portion, and package ingredients accurately.





Maintain organized workstations and ingredient storage areas.

Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs.

Support food preparation and basic cooking duties.

Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

Help minimize waste and support effective kitchen operations.

Key Qualifications

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset.

Ability to follow recipes, production schedules, and portion standards.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Food safety certification is an asset.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work.

Passion for great food and craft beer.
