Become an integral part of Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre as an On-Site Housing Support Worker. This role focuses on crisis intervention and individualized support for residents overcoming homelessness.

Located at 1011 Lansdowne Avenue, this position serves individuals with complex needs. Your mission will be to promote housing stability through in office engagement and support. Ideal candidates should have experience with vulnerable populations, and a proactive approach to delivering tailored life skills and case management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct client intake and initial assessments
• Provide housing-focused case management and support
• Offer life skills training to foster independence
• Advocate for clients with landlords and service providers
• Maintain detailed case records and care plans

Requirements:
• College diploma or degree in social work or related field
• Minimum 2 years of direct support experience
• Training in crisis intervention strategies
• Knowledge of homelessness and mental health issues
• Proficiency in MS Office and electronic documentation
