Drive health initiatives for Métis citizens as a Health Promotion Manager with Métis Nation–Saskatchewan. Engage in community relations and program management to enhance health access across the province.
This full-time, permanent position reports to the Director of Health, Mental Health, and Addictions. You will lead health promotion initiatives such as the Canadian Tobacco Strategy and Oral Health Fund, ensuring effective service delivery. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, mentoring team members, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead management and operations of health promotion staff
• Develop and implement health promotion program workplans
• Address complex client concerns and resolve issues
• Maintain program documentation per Ministry protocols
• Prepare monthly and annual program reports
Requirements:
• Post-secondary or relevant experience in health and research
• Minimum 3-5 years working with Indigenous communities
• Solid analytical and communication skills required
• Experience in strategic planning and funding proposals
• Must hold a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license
