In this onsite role reporting to the Weekend Day Shift Machine Shop Supervisor, you will perform tasks essential to quality assurance. Your experience in deburring and using various tools will support the production of exact landing gear components. Engage in initiatives for continuous improvement while operating equipment like overhead cranes and possibly robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform deburring and polishing of landing gear components
• Operate overhead cranes for moving large parts
• Support robotic deburring processes when needed
• Participate in LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Conduct operator self-verification for quality assurance
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 1-3 years deburring experience
• Ability to read micrometers and verniers
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and meet ITAR requirements
• Experience with titanium deburring is preferred
• Familiarity with production order cards and manufacturing sheets
