Strike Group is looking for an Excavator Operator for pipeline projects in Northern Alberta with a 17 on/4 off work schedule. Ensure safety and accuracy while operating heavy equipment.
This position focuses on excavator operation under the site supervisor's guidance, requiring participation in safety meetings and team collaboration. Your expertise in pipeline-related work will play a crucial role in the success of construction activities, including integrity digs. A positive attitude towards safety and following directives is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate excavators at pipeline construction sites
• Participate in all necessary safety meetings
• Conduct integrity digs as per project needs
• Carry out other assigned site activities
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
• Certification in Ground Disturbance Level 2
• Experience in operating excavators for pipelines
• Ability to follow hand signals and instructions
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Pass drug and alcohol tests successfully
