The City of Castlegar is seeking a Journey Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair its fleet of small to heavy equipment, including Fire Department vehicles. The role reports to the Mechanical Shop Foreperson and requires knowledge of hydraulic systems, diagnostics, and electronic controls.
The successful candidate will hold a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate with a BC Class 3 drivers licence with air brake endorsement.
