Job Title: ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY — LITIGATION
Compensation: $125,000 – $185,000 per year depending on experience
Location : Denver, CO

The Role:
Our client seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably with an emphasis on insurance-related litigation such as coverage disputes, personal injury cases, premises liability lawsuits, and bad faith claims. The ideal candidate will have experience investigating and defending first and third-party claims, taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and attending court hearings in state and federal courts. Experience drafting coverage opinions and conducting examinations under oath is a strong plus.

Candidates will have the opportunity to handle day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of the matters on which they work, from pre-litigation analysis and client recommendations through trial and appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and defend first and third-party insurance claims

Handle personal injury, construction, premises liability, coverage disputes, and bad faith matters

Take and defend depositions

Draft dispositive motions and coverage opinions

Attend court hearings in state and federal courts

Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis





Provide pre-litigation evaluations and client recommendations

Conduct examinations under oath

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school — distinguished academics preferred

A minimum of 3 years of solid litigation experience in law firms required

Experience with insurance-related litigation, coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, and bad faith claims strongly preferred

Excellent research, writing, and independent thinking skills required

Ability to handle a fast-paced workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Hands-on approach to research, problem-solving, and client relations

Comfortable with technology

Outgoing, collegial, and cooperative personality
