Empower CAF operations as an Electrical Generation Systems Technician, providing essential electrical power support. This role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of generators and systems in diverse military environments.
As part of the military's Construction Engineering team, you will operate within the Canadian Armed Forces, focusing on generator systems. Key tasks include maintaining mobile and power plant generators, Uninterruptable Power Systems, and completing mechanical and electrical drawings. Training includes electrical principles and specialized skills, ensuring you are prepared for on-the-ground military support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain electrical generation systems
• Repair mobile and fixed generators and control equipment
• Overhaul electrical systems and equipment
• Produce technical designs and specifications
• Conduct brazing, welding, and machining tasks
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education
• No previous experience required
• Successfully pass basic military training
• Attend 22 weeks of specialized occupational training
• Availability for part-time and full time military roles
