Responsibilities
The Yard Associate is part of a team dedicated to customer service, order preparation, and loading operations, while working safely at all times.

Greet customers in the yard and assist them with questions and product selection

Verify that quantities on documents match the order

Assist customers with loading their vehicles

Ensure accurate product selection

Help prepare customer ordersli>

Organize and stock materials in the yard and warehouse

Maintain cleanliness and order in the lumber yard

Load and unload trucks using a forklift

Perform other related duties as required

Conditions & Requirements

Punctual, reliable, and in good physical condition

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to work as part of a team

Strong customer service skills

0 to 2 years of experience as a yard associate (an asset)

Knowledge of construction materials

Day shift schedule, including every other Saturday

Ability to work under pressure and perform physically demanding tasks

Forklift operating experience (an asset)
