Become the Chief Legal Officer for a leading bank, ensuring compliance and providing strategic insights. This executive role involves managing legal matters across multiple states and advising the Board of Directors.

As the General Counsel, you will be the primary legal advisor regarding federal, state, and local issues. Solid expertise in banking laws and strategic thinking is essential for ensuring safe and ethical operations. You’ll also oversee litigation, manage outside counsel, and reinforce compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary legal advisor for the bank
• Advise on governance best practices to executives
• Oversee litigation aligned with risk management
• Monitor changes in federal and state laws
• Partner with Compliance to support regulatory exams

Requirements:
• JD from an accredited law school
• 10+ years legal experience with financial institutions
• Proven negotiation and leadership skills
• Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Strong business acumen and strategic insight
