Become a Teaching Assistant for Interior Design Studio 4.1 at the University of Manitoba. This part time role entails preparation of instructional materials and engaging with students during tutorials and seminars.
As a TA/Demonstrator for the EVIE 4010 A01 course, you will have about 6.5 hours of work per week from September to December 2026. Responsibilities include facilitating learning through various instructional methods, grading assignments, and consulting with students. An empathetic approach and effective communication skills in English are essential for this role during the upcoming semester.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in course planning and staff meetings
• Attend lectures and provide instructional support
• Prepare and present teaching materials
• Mark students' submissions and exams
• Maintain consultation hours for student support
Requirements:
• Relevant academic background in Interior Design
• Demonstrated empathy towards student concerns
• Strong proficiency in English language
• Registered student in the relevant department
• Current student transcript attachment required
