Overview
Our financial services client is seeking a Risk Analyst to support a current governance and controls initiative within a business unit focused on customer rewards. This role will partner with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen the operational risk framework through control design, documentation, testing, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Design, document, and enhance operational and technology controls

Develop control procedures, testing methodologies, and supporting documentation

Partner with business and technology teams to align on control design and implementation

Execute end-to-end control lifecycle activities, including testing and evidence validation

Ensure controls are audit-ready and comply with governance standards

Support initiatives that strengthen the overall risk and control environment

Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications





3-5 years of experience in operational risk management within a regulated financial services environment

Experience with technology controls , including IT risk, access management, change management, or related control frameworks

Experience designing and implementing controls from inception through execution

Strong understanding of operational risk and governance practices

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills

Nice to Have

Experience with another major financial institution

Experience with enterprise control frameworks

Additional experience with technology controls
