Bruce Auto Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Labourer to support the general upkeep and maintenance of our commercial properties. This hands-on position is well suited for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, is comfortable with physical work, and takes pride in keeping facilities protected and well maintained.

Responsibilities

- Assist with general maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep.
- Support painting, drywall repair, basic carpentry, and minor renovation projects.
- Complete general indoor and outdoor cleanup.
- Assist with landscaping, gutter cleaning, and minor exterior repairs.
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and building materials as required.
- Pick up and deliver tools, materials, and supplies between locations.
- Safely operate basic hand and power tools.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Assist the Facilities Project Manager and Maintenance Technician with projects as needed.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.




- Perform other general labour and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in general labour, maintenance, construction, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting or moving heavy materials.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.
- Flexibility to travel between Bruce Auto Group locations as required.
