Provide vital trauma counselling services to women and all genders at Family Transition Place. This full time role operates from multiple locations including Orangeville and Bolton.

Family Transition Place is seeking an experienced Clinical Counsellor to deliver individual and group therapy for survivors of abuse. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in a counselling-focused field and be registered or eligible for registration with a relevant college. The successful candidate will be well-versed in crisis counselling, mental health, and the intersections of trauma and addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and group counselling services for clients
• Maintain accurate electronic records for agency compliance




• Collaborate with community response systems and referrals
• Conduct educational presentations and participate in committees
• Assist in planning and organizing counselling services

Requirements:
• Master's level counselling-related degree or equivalent
• Over 2 years’ crisis counselling experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance is mandatory
