The time has finally come for Old Yale Brewing Craft Brewery + Kitchen Chilliwack to reopen its doors, but first we need to fill it with some awesome people…aka YOU!
Old Yale Brewing opened our doors way back in 1999 and since our start, we’ve always stayed true to our roots, seeking perfect balance using the finest, all-natural ingredients to craft truly one-of-a-kind beers and delicious campfire-inspired food.
We are a craft beer-loving, adventure-seeking, dog-crazed, food-obsessed, family-centric, down-to-earth team that crafts and shares exceptional experiences for our community and team members, because they deserve it!
Role At OYB, great food is at the heart of every unforgettable guest experience. As a Line Cook, you'll prepare fresh, high-quality dishes, manage your station with confidence, and play an important role in delivering the exceptional food our guests know and love.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items to OYB recipes and standards.
Execute prep, portioning, and station setup before service.
Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation.




Keep workstations clean, organized, and service-ready.
Support inventory management, stock rotation, and waste reduction.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Key Qualifications Previous cooking, prep cook, or similar kitchen experience preferred.
Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to follow recipes and preparation standards consistently.
Food safety certification is an asset.
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work flexible hours.
Passion for great food and craft beer.
