Under the direction of the Chair of Architecture, Construction, and Civil, the professor will teach within the Algonquin Center for Construction Excellence. Key Responsibilities:
• Teach General Carpentry Apprenticeship courses across terms
• Guide curriculum development and learning outcomes assessment
• Provide academic advising and tutoring for students
• Evaluate student progress and ensure effective learning environments
• Attend departmental meetings and engage in community outreach
Requirements:
• 403A Red Seal General Carpenter Certificate
• Minimum five years’ experience in General Carpentry
• Two years of teaching experience preferred
• Familiarity with educational technologies
