As a Recreation Therapist, you will evaluate residents' interests and abilities, develop treatment plans, and involve them in engaging activities. Your role ensures optimal health outcomes through structured recreation, teamwork, and communication with families and interdisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ needs and interests within the community
• Develop and communicate treatment plans effectively
• Direct Recreation Therapy Aides in group pursuits




• Maintain documentation and assess residents' progress
• Participate in planning and coordinating programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy from an accredited institution
• Registration eligibility with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association
• Previous experience in recreation therapy preferred
• Solid interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
