In this role, you'll support franchisees with commercial bids, estimating, project coordination, and client relationships while helping move opportunities from bid stage to awarded work. Working closely with franchisees, general contractors, property managers, developers, and commercial clients, you'll play a key role in strengthening our commercial operations and supporting division growth.

This position is ideal for someone with commercial construction experience who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes continue to evolve and improve.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Bid Support

Create, review, and provide feedback on commercial estimates, takeoffs, scopes, and proposals

Support franchisees from bid stage to signed contract, including RFIs, clarifications, value engineering, and bid positioning

Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation to identify risks, gaps, or missing details

Help franchisees strengthen pricing strategy, proposal quality, and overall bid competitiveness

Franchisee & Project Coordination

Act as a key support resource for franchisees pursuing commercial opportunities

Help franchisees prepare for and navigate conversations with general contractors, property managers, developers, consultants, and commercial clients

Join client or project calls when needed to support scope alignment, communication, and next steps

Support follow-up on active bids and help keep commercial opportunities moving forward

Commercial Growth & Process Improvement

Help franchisees build stronger commercial relationships that lead to repeat business

Support outbound commercial growth initiatives with the Commercial Division team

Identify new opportunities, upsell potential, and cross-scope opportunities within active projects

Help improve estimating standards, proposal templates, sales processes, training materials, and commercial workflows

Qualifications & Skills

3 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction, estimating, project coordination, subcontractor operations, business development, or commercial sales support

Experience working with general contractors, developers, property managers, or commercial clients

Strong understanding of the commercial project lifecycle, from bid stage to contract

Comfortable reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, contracts, and project documentation

Understanding of how general contractors evaluate subcontractors and how commercial relationships are built

Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple active opportunities while staying detail-oriented and responsive

Exterior envelope, siding, cladding, or building envelope experience is a strong asset

Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software is an asset

What Success Looks Like

Franchisees are better supported throughout the commercial bidding and project development process

Commercial estimates, proposals, and scopes are clearer, stronger, and more competitive

Active bids are followed up on consistently and commercial opportunities continue moving forward

Franchisees feel more confident engaging with general contractors, property managers, developers, and commercial clients

Commercial relationships across the network become stronger and more consistent

Bid conversion improves through better communication, positioning, and client experience
