chef de partie Job details Job description: The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier as a unique, boutique style property, and is looking for Chef de Partie. You will serve as an ambassador for the Hotel and must be a multi-functional individual with attention for the finer details. Every memorable dining experience at The Pinnacle at the Pier begins behind the scenes with our culinary team's commitment to efficient operations and exceptional cuisine.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes within the assigned kitchen section.
Manage and organize the daily operations of the designated station and daily labour.
Ensure food is prepared to the highest quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
Minimize food waste and control portion sizes.
Supervise and train.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items (FIFO).
Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.




Follow health and safety policies and maintain a safe working workplace.
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie.
Culinary qualification or professional cookery certification is preferred.
Excellent cooking techniques and knowledge of food preparation.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Leadership and team supervision.
Attention to detail.
Creativity and passion for food.
Problem-solving ability.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
