We are seeking a strategic, hands‑onControllerto lead a growing finance team with a background in real estate, construction or home building. This is a fully in officerole based in Calgary, AB.
Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly close process and deliver accurate financial statements on schedule.
Prepare management reporting, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.
Oversee financial reporting for all related entities and provide profitability analysis to support business decisions.
Ensure financial obligations are managed accurately and on time.
Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models supporting business planning.
Maintain the integrity of the ERP system and continuously improve financial processes, reporting, and data quality.
Oversee internal controls, tax compliance, audits, banking requirements, and regulatory reporting.
Partner with Operations, Sales, and senior leadership by providing financial insights and supporting cross‑functional initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications CPA designation.
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibility.
Experience leading month‑end close,



financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards, tax compliance, and internal controls.
Experience with ERP systems and financial process improvement.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience in residential construction, real estate development, or a project‑based environment is considered a strong asset.
