We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality atFairmontJasper Park Lodge,asour new Bike Technician. As a Bike Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and preparing bicycles to ensure a safe, high-quality riding experience for guests.

Responsibilities

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging services
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, safety and service standards
- Inspect, maintain, and repair a fleet of Devinci and Trek bicycles, including mountain, road and e-bikes
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely, high-quality repairs and tune-ups
- Prepare bikes for daily guest use, ensuring safety and optimal performance
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate reorders as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized workshop and adhere to safety standards
- Assist guests with basic bike fitting, adjustments, and usage guidance
- Support rental operations and collaborate with recreation and guest services teams to ensure a positive user experience
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a bike technician or in bicycle repair (professional or advanced hobbyist), with Devinci and Trek brands an asset
- Strong knowledge of bike components, maintenance techniques, and repair tools
- Familiarity with -- systems is an asset




- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Customer service mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor-oriented environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., bike mechanic certification) are an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
