Accounting Coordinator - Permanent - 19242

About the Opportunity

Our client in the Ottawa East (Casselman) area is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis in a newly-open position. This organization focuses on collaboration and teamwork as well as opportunities to learn and apply your Accounting knowledge, all within a positive work culture. Duties

- High volume AP—processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
- Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
- Processing and recording of Employee cash advances
- Process AR—applying payments and monitoring aging
- Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups in a timely and skilled manner
- Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
- Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Support month‑end close by ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and properly documented




- Ensure compliance with internal policies
- Provide administrative support as required

About You

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Post‑secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in full‑cycle Accounting
- Strong problem‑solving skills, critical thinking
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self‑starter, collaborative

About the Job

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 based on relevant previous experience.
