The culture emphasizes collaboration, diversity and inclusion, integrity, accountability, learning, and career growth, with opportunities to contribute across engineering, field operations, manufacturing, and corporate functions.We are hiring a QA Technician to support quality assurance processes for network infrastructure projects, ensuring installations meet company standards and client expectationsJob SummaryUnder the direction of the Field Service Manager the QA Technician is responsible to ensure compliance and uniformity during the build phases of Fiber-To-The-Premise (FTTP) build.The incumbent is also responsible for providing accurate and effective quality assurance, customer reporting, and operational support by assisting with the continuous development of engineering policies, procedures, and training.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTING OUTCOMESCommunicate with Lead Hand/Splicing Lead upon site visitsVisit MxU sites (Internal and Build partner) any civil build and fill out QA checklistReport back to Field Service Manager and Quality Manager on any findingsPass or mark defect according to client standard and checklist providedCheck that any deviations from original design are marked properly on as-builtSend in completed checklist at end of inspection phase and list of open/closed deficienciesPropose strategies to avoid duplication of work, minimize processing times, and reduce costAdherence to and promotion of the Canadian environmental, health & safety policiesProtects organization’s value by keeping information confidentialPerform follow-up with responsible parties to complete remediations on a timely mannerPerform other duties as requested,
