Reporting to the Chairperson, you will develop and deliver curricula, evaluate student performance, and engage in various administrative functions. While the majority of instruction will be delivered in person, some remote teaching components may also be requiredKey Responsibilities:Instruct students in classroom, laboratory or shop settings, and provide academic assistance.Develop and modify course objectives, course outlines, curricula and evaluation procedures.Maintain all course-related records including evaluations and attendance and submit required information.Prepare and organize course materials and learning resources. Share passion and knowledge of the nursing profession with students. Apply enthusiasm to classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising and related administrative duties. Stay well-informed about the role of the CLPNM, the Practical Nurse entry-level competencies,



scope of practice and other regulatory requirements Qualifications:Relevant post-secondary nursing education and significant industry experience in acute care. Experience teaching in an adult environment is highly desirableExperience teaching (theory, lab, and clinical) and experience using Moodle an asset.Appropriate nursing credential and other relevant post-secondary education. Registered and in good standing with CRNM, CRPNM or CLPNMSolid understanding of program and curriculum development, Indigenization and decolonization of curriculum, classroom instruction, assessment and evaluation, student advising and group facilitation.
