DDA Day Programs is hiring a Community Support Worker in Vancouver/Richmond. Support adults of varying abilities in a casual, on-call capacity, enhancing their life through engaging activities.
As a Community Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in DDA Day Programs, contributing to a positive and inclusive setting for participants. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with daily living tasks and leading projects that help them achieve their personal goals. You will also participate in community outreach and implement individualized plans for every participant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create an inclusive program environment
• Assist participants with daily activities
• Lead person-centered, diverse ability programs
• Monitor individualized goal plans
• Engage in outreach-based activities
Requirements:
• Relevant Degree or Diploma
• 1-2 years in disability-related support
• Valid driver's license and clean abstract
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Criminal and medical clearances
