We''re a family of four in West Vancouver looking for a part time nanny for our one-year-old daughter, with some after-school time with our six-year-old son.

The role: three days a week the same three days every week, roughly 8:304:30, live-out.

Primarily one-on-one care for our daughter naps, meals, outings, playtime plus school pickup and a snack/play window with our son from ~3pm.

Light tidying related to the kids'' day.

We''re not looking for a housekeeper; the job is the children.

How we parent, so you can decide if it fits: we cosleep with our daughter and don''t sleep-train.

We respond when she cries.

When our son has meltdowns; we stay with him and let them finish rather than stopping them, and talk it over once he''s calm.

We don''t use timeouts, bribes, or reward charts, and we don''t change a ''no'' partway through.

We offer a few food options at meals and let the kids choose,



but don''t cook a second meal or make anyone finish a plate.

We don''t use labels for either child.

What we''re looking for: experience with infants specifically, and someone who wants a stable, long arrangement rather than a bridge to something else.

We''d love this to run several years. A drivers'' licence and comfort driving on the North Shore is a plus.

Valid CPR/first aid required.

What we offer: $28/hour to start, with a scheduled annual review.

Start date flexible.
