Your Role as a Mechanical Engineer: Choose your own adventure! Lets talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR.

As a Mechanical Engineer, your role will include: Working and collaborating with an established, integrated technical team of engineers,technologistsand support staff on multidisciplinary projects.

Providing technical mechanicalexpertisefor engineering studies and condition assessments.

Applying engineering fundamentals and tools to design mechanical systems.

Coordinating with designers to optimize general arrangements, equipment selection, piping, and ductwork layouts.

Reviewing and recommending technical designs, specifications, and reports.

Assistingproject managers, engineers, and technologists with project execution during all project phases.

Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.





Participating in the preparation of proposals and the development of estimates for engineering services.

Mentoring junior engineers,engineering graduates, and technologists.

Completing site reviews during construction and reporting on observations.
