Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) Functional Analyst to join their project immediately and will run until March 2027, with possibility of an extension.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in one or more of AP, BL, or FI, along with a strong command of financial accounting and the ability to implement SAP best practices while contributing to solution design.

This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities: Act as the SAP Finance functional lead and subject matter expert for Accounts Payable (FI-AP),ensuring the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of AP-related processes and solutions.

Provide hands-on support for SAP FI-AP and its integration with MM, P2P, Banking, Treasury, and other Finance functions, including defect resolution and project activities, with autonomy.

Serve as a backup for Finance cutover activities by participating in cutover governance meetings,monitoring progress against key milestones.

Coordinating follow-ups with stakeholders, and proactively managing risks and dependencies to support a successful go-live.

Robust organizational, communication, collaboration,



and stakeholder management skills are essential to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate with key business users to enhance the effectiveness of SAP solutions.

Contribute to S/4HANA implementation and migration projects, including fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Participate in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and implementation of SAP solutions while ensuring alignment with business requirements and organizational standards.

Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documentation, and test artifacts.

Ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and governance standards, independently or with minimal supervision.

Participate in peer reviews of design standards and specifications.

Promote an agile culture of servant leadership, collaboration and accountability.

Assist in the transition from project delivery to application support teams, with some ownership ofhandoff processes.

Participate in the transition and hand-off from the project delivery team to the application support team.

University degree or equivalent by experience.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
