About Our Client

Our client, located in midtown Toronto, is a public accounting firm looking for an experienced Manager, Bookkeeping to join their team! Reporting directly to the Partners, the Bookkeeping, Manager tasks will follow:

Responsibilities

- Oversee the entire bookeeping staff on a day to day basis inlcuding accountants and payroll specialists
- Analyze financial engagement files and prepared tax returns for small business clients
- Cultivate partnerships amongst internal and external partners
- A leader that is constantly looking for ways to develop the department and team
- Lead and mentor junior staff
- Other ad-hoc duties are required

Qualifications

- 1-2 years experience in a similar position
- Degree or diploma in accounting & finance
- Strong people management skills, must have experience managing a big team
- Knowledge of NTRs and taxes
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail




- Robust written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements
