Description: Automation Lead - Job Summary

Location: 111 Westmount Road South, Waterloo, ON N2J 4S4

Guidewire Testing Expertise (Mandatory)

Solid functional testing experience in:
Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC)
Guidewire BillingCenter (BC)
Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC)

Testing types:
Functional Testing
Regression Testing
Integration Testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Test Management & Documentation
Create Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts
Maintain detailed testing documentation
Prepare test execution reports and stakeholder updates
Participate in requirements reviews and sprint planning sessions

Defect Management
Defect logging, tracking, and reporting
JIRA or similar test/defect management tools
Clear communication of issues to development and business teams

Automation Skills
Selenium
Tosca
Functional test automation framework experience
Ability to automate business-critical scenarios

Database Skills
SQL / PL-SQL




Backend data validation
Database testing and reconciliation

Agile & DevOps
Agile/Scrum methodology experience
Sprint planning and release readiness participation
Exposure to CI/CD environments

Business Domain
Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain knowledge preferred
Understanding of Guidewire business processes
