Description What NAV CANADA offers you: Challenging, team-oriented work environment Competitive compensation and benefits Defined benefit pension plan Opportunities for growth and development Flexible work arrangements Diverse and inclusive workforce In this role you will: Lead the operational performance of the AIM IFP Design unit, ensuring service demand is met through effective capacity planning, prioritization, and adherence to production schedules, service level agreements, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Ensure the safe, accurate, and timely design, maintenance, and publication of instrument flight procedures and associated aeronautical information.

Serve as AIM IFPs primary representative on strategic NAV CANADA initiatives and contribute management expertise to the regulated and ISO-certified AIM Business Management System, supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Drive strategic and operational improvements by identifying efficiencies, researching and advancing technology and system enhancements, and leading the planning and implementation of initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee safety management activities in alignment with NAV CANADAs Safety Management System, acting as the point of escalation for complex or time-sensitive operational issues.

Act as the business owner for TP308 training, ensuring regulatory compliance, industry alignment, and effective delivery of qualification and on-site training programs in partnership with ATS Learning.

Manage financial planning and resource allocation, including budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, supplier relationships, and contracted services, to align operational capacity with current and future demand.

Provide performance oversight through reporting on quality metrics, compliance issues, corrective actions, unit performance, budget variances, and supplier outcomes.

Lead and develop a high-performing team by overseeing hiring, performance management, scheduling,



coaching, employee engagement, and labor relations, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and values-driven work environment.

Represent NAV CANADA internally and externally by building solid relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Transport Canada, Department of National Defence, airline representatives, aerodrome operators, etc.) and participating in industry working groups, committees, and forums.

What you bring: Education: Completion of a degree in a related field (e.g., aviation, engineering, computer science, supply chain management, etc.), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience: 3 years of experience in the aviation industry is strongly preferred; however, candidates with demonstrated leadership success in other highly regulated, safety critical, or operationally complex environments are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated experience in leading employees and/or technical professionals and project teams.

Demonstrated delivery track record in a large, fast-paced and complex operational environment.

Experience initiating, scoping, and delivering business projects which enhance delivery of service to stakeholders.

Experience working in close collaboration with cross-functional business groups.

Knowledge of the following areas is considered an asset: Canadian Air Navigation System Aeronautical Information Services Instrument Flight Procedure Design Services ICAO standards and recommended practices Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) Safety Management Systems Knowledge of change management principles and best practices.

Working Conditions: This position is a hybrid position with a minimum 3 days per week on site.
