Job Description Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Director of PR, the

Marketing and Communications Coordinator willprovide daily support and be a contributing member of an extraordinary Communications Team.

Here is the impact youll make and what we will accomplish together: Marketing & Communications: Coordinate visiting media, vetting incoming requests, making reservations and personalized itinerary details, arrange VIP amenities, update key staff and host media dinners and events, when required.

Own internal communication cross-departmentally with operational teams.

Maintain hotel press kit and online press room with relevant press releases and photos, ensure online press rooms are kept up to date, and maintain media database.

Coordinate media packages for internal and external stakeholders for all events, partnerships and launches.

Maintain media database with current contacts, while building new targeted media lists.

Prepare monthly marketing and public relations reporting, alongside weekly media briefs, resumes and reports as requested.

Contribute to yearly F&B; events calendar, ensuring cross-functional teams are working cohesively.

Respond to Food and Beverage online reviews.

Provide regular departmental status updates and circulate communications meeting notes in a timely manner.

Preparing awards applications and supporting other requests for information.

Manage Marketing/PR file organization (photo naming, Share

Point docs, etc.) Provide administrative support to Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Marketing and Director of Public Relations.

Evening and weekend attendance expected as required.

Complies with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts policies, procedures and code of ethics.





Performs any and all other tasks which are assigned by management.

Adhering to all Fairmont Hotels & Resorts sales standard and uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.

Miscellaneous assignments as required.

Design Create customizing menus Banquet Kit updates Updates to venue websites Creating flat sheets & brochures for sales purposes Maintain and update F&B; Menus Adhere to and maintain brand standards for all guest facing documents Graphic design support (in house and external collateral) Preparing Power

Point and other presentations as required A competitive salary starting at $60,000 depending on your skills and experience Qualifications Your experience and skills include: 2+ years of experience in creative/art direction, preferably in luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands Strong portfolio showcasing branding and design Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Figma) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced luxury environment Attention to detail and commitment to excellence Additional Information Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): The position of Porter is physically demanding and has a direct impact on the security of our employees and guests.





The successful applicant must be physically capable of performing repetitive work, as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads (average 50lbs).

The successful applicant must be comfortable working the majority of the time outdoors in all elements.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
